Looking to volunteer

?

Looking to volunteer ?

We have many opportunities for parents, guardians, and community members to volunteer at Pride Schools. If you are interested in joining our volunteer pool, please fill out the Volunteer Background Check and submit it at the front offices of one of our schools. We regularly ask for help from our volunteers for student field trips, celebrations and school events, after school activities, and student clubs. If you have a specific after school club or activity you are interested in supervising, please let our staff know.

Student 504 Procedures

Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 ("Section 504") is a Federal civil rights law that is designed to eliminate disability discrimination in programs and activities that receive Federal funds. Since all public school districts receive Federal funds, all public school districts must comply with Section 504. Under Section 504, denying a disabled student a free appropriate public education ("FAPE") constitutes disability discrimination.

To identify your student having a 504 from a previous school or wanting to get the 504 process started for your child, please click on the Child Finds link below and fill out the 504-2 form. Once you have completed the form, please turn the document into your schools 504 Building Coordinator. If you are unsure who that may be, we have provided a list of all of our 504 Building Coordinators
